Takeoffs and Landings as Developmental Exercises

An examination of the Lesson Plan organization in Transport Canada's Flight Instructor Guide reinforces the notion that takeoffs and landings are developmentally learned by student pilots over a series of flights—in fact they are specified in lesson plans indicated below.  Despite the suggestion below is that the Flight Instructor repetitively demonstrates takeoffs and landings over the first four lesson plans—which quite commonly comprises the first six or seven flight lessons—in reality students must actively participate in the takeoffs and landings every flight, beginning with the first takeoffs and landing.
